How to get here

….. by bike (and public transport)

If possible, you should bring your bike so you can use it to get from the train station to the camp, or for tours to the coal-mine (2km). We try to get rental bikes, but every bike that you bring improves your mobility and makes organization easier for us.
The best way to get here is to travel by train to Hochneukirch in North-Rhein-Westfalia in Germany (www.bahn.de). From there it’s only 5 km to the camp – a stone’s throw for bikers.
We will give you more detailed directions later in the year.

… public transport

Take the train to Erkelenz, then get on the bus to Borschemich. (line 3EK towards Keyenberg Schule. The bus stop is called Marienstiftstraße. From there you will see the camp grounds. There will be a bike-shuttle-service from Hochneukirch, but of course our ressources are limited. More detailed information later in the year.

… by car

Note that we will NOT provide parking places for cars on or around the camp grounds. People who get here by car should be prepared to park further away. The camp is designed for tents only, not for caravans, busses etc. There will be more detailed information later this year.
